De Mardi 19 mars vers 16h à mercredi 20 dans l'après midi, jeuxGéo a été inaccessible, de même que Jeux-historiques.com et tous les autres sites en langues étrangères...



Voici pourquoi : Notre serveur principal a crashé mardi. Normalement il redémarre facilement et le souci ne dure que quelques minutes. Mais là, les équipes de notre hébergeur ont décidé de changer sa carte mère, et au cours de l'opération, ils se sont aperçus que les disques durs eux aussi étaient endommagés.

Comme le serveur a fini par redémarrer mercredi matin, nous avons pu remettre un à un nos sites en route.

Mais JeuxGéo est un site particulier, avec des bases de données énormes, et des systèmes d'accès à la fois anciens et complexes.

Sans entrer dans les détails, une fois le site remis en place, son adresse est restée introuvable pour la plupart des ordinateurs qui étaient déjà allés le visiter.



A l'heure où j'écris ces lignes, une bonne partie d'entre vous ont dû pouvoir retourner sur votre site préféré, et voir que rien n'y avait changé par rapport à la vellle. Aucune donnée n'a été perdue.



Ironie du sort, ce problème intervient à quelques semaines d'une grande migration qui devrait transférer jeuxGéo sur un serveur tout neuf surveillé 7 jours sur 7 et 24h sur 24 par des équipes spécialisées.

Nous vous tiendrons au courant de cette opération qui se fera courant du mois d'avril.



Il ne devrait donc plus y avoir ce genre de souci à l'avenir...

Profitons bien de ce tournoi ''Villes de France'' ici sur geoheroes.com, car les autres sites d'Histoire et de Géographie de Jeux&Co sont en panne depuis hier.

Il reste aussi jeuxpedago.com qui fonctionne, d'ailleurs il y en a pas mal qui devraient y faire des révisions.
